Since 2012

Our Story

Born from a passion for craft cider and Colorado’s apple-growing heritage.

Our roots

Planted in Firestone

Wild Cider was born from a passion for craft cider and Colorado’s apple-growing heritage. Founded in 2012 on 14 acres in Firestone, Wild Cider launched with big ambitions, planting over 1,100 apple trees to help revive Colorado’s orchard culture.

The team dove into crafting small-batch ciders with bold, unexpected flavors, earning a loyal following for something fresh, fun and a little outside the norm. Wild Cider quickly became a local favorite for those looking beyond the beer tap.

The next chapter

Rooted in the community

In May 2025, Wild Cider entered a new chapter under new local ownership, rooted in the community and eager to keep its welcoming spirit thriving.

The promise is clear: honor Wild Cider’s legacy, push boundaries with inventive small-batch ciders, host lively events, and serve the perfect pairing with every pint — wood-fired pizza, made to order.

How wild is made

Perfecting the process

Today, Wild Cider is writing a new chapter in the age-old story of cider.

  • 1

    Washington cider apples

Apples are sourced from northeast Washington, a region famous for producing the finest cider apples available.

  • 2

    Six or more varietals

Using six or more unique apple varieties at a time, we build complex flavor profiles the world has never seen before.

  • 3

    Slow, cold fermentation

Unlike other ciders, we ferment slow and cold for a vibrant, smooth taste that’s delicious alone and ideal for blending.

  • 4

    Whole ingredients

Real fruit, Colorado honey, organic hibiscus and agave — carefully chosen flavors that shatter expectations of what cider can be.
